Collector Displays Exhibit
We all love to show off our knives, but for some collectors, displaying them is a passion.  The Case Collectors Appreciation Weekend provides the perfect venue for these folks to bring along their displays and share a few of the finer points of exhibiting knives with others.  Stop by to see some of the amazing knife exhibits that will be on display throughout the weekend.  Please check the box on the registration form if you’d like to be a Display Exhibitor.

If your grandiose collection is too cumbersome to transport, we have the perfect solution – a “Bragging Wall”.  Just bring along some photos of your creative knife displays.  The most impressive ideas may appear in an upcoming issue of The Case Collector, so start snapping your photos today!  There is no limit to the number of photos that each collector may post.  Photos will not be returned.

Carving Displays Exhibit
Some folks like to look at Case knives.  Some like to store them locked up safe.  Some have walls filled with knife displays, and some use their knives to create works of art through the skill of whittling and carving.  New to this years’ event, we invite those who enjoy whittling to not only come to the event, but to also bring along some of their creative pieces.  If you’d like to be included in this exhibit and reserve some space to let others view your talents, please note this in the space provided on the registration form.  We are looking forward to capturing some great whittling and carving stories.

Making A Case for America Exhibit
Come see our newest promotional campaign, which features country superstars Brooks & Dunn and a story about how American made Case knives benefit small towns.  It’s called, “Making a Case for America” – one company’s mission to help restore small towns with small town values across our great country!

Tony Bose’s Custom Knife Making Demonstration
Some things are a perfectly matched; like the shoes that went with that tuxedo you wore to your high school prom.  In the world of knives, the perfect match may be Tony Bose and W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company.  Again this year, we are thrilled to have renowned custom knife maker Tony Bose bring his skills to life as he teaches collectors what actually goes into making a custom knife.  Tony travels all the way from Shelburn, Indiana to share some his knowledge with those that appreciate and respect knives.  Tony’s manner is entertaining, enlightening, and educational.  This is one demonstration that you won’t want to miss!

Tom Wolfe’s Woodcarving Clinic
Have you ever wanted to learn how turn a simple block of wood into a work of art?  North Carolina native and famous woodcarver Tom Wolfe will be conducting woodcarving demonstrations and on-hand workshops to help you do just that. Participants in this clinic do more than just watch; they discover this ancient skill using a single knife as their only tool.  You’ll be amazed at Tom’s caricature carving techniques!  Workshops will take place on Friday and Saturday and are limited to 20 people per class.  Directions on where to sign-up will be posted at the event.

Case Artisan Knife Sharpening and Polishing
If you have a Case knife that needs sharpening or polishing, Case Artisans will be nearby, ready to transform your knife into one that looks and performs like it was just taken out of the box.

Chainsaw Carving Demonstration
Chainsaw carving is a revved-up, sawdust-spitting segment of the art world.  During this demonstration, the scent of pine and motor oil are as vital as the sculptor’s hands and eyes in creating gorgeous works of art; just as a Case artisan’s hands craft our unique knives.  Watch local chainsaw carvers create several one-hour “quick carve” sculptures in a non-competitive setting.  After watching this adrenaline-fueled meeting of performance with fine art, you may just have to take a piece of art home.  A unique chainsaw carved sculpture will be on the auction block Saturday afternoon with the proceeds being donated to a local charity.
