Case Custom Chopper Revealed; U.S. Tour, National Sweeps in June

Bradford, PA (March 14, 2005) – W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company unveiled the Case Custom Chopper, a one-of-a-kind sport cycle designed and built by Orange County Choppers™, at a private reception on Thursday evening at the Zippo Case Visitors Center. The Case Chopper remains on display for the general public from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. today and Saturday, March 12.

The Case Custom Chopper is a Rigid Spoke Rev-Tec model with a 130 horsepower V-twin engine. The custom paint color is two-toned silver with knife blade accents. A red Case logo appears on the gas tank and fenders, and a rendering of Case family patriarch Job Case is visible to the driver from the front fender. The oil tank and air cleaner covers display Case XX and tang stamp markings. The custom mirror brackets replicate opened Case knives.

Case will begin a national sweepstakes on June 1 that will award the chopper to one lucky winner at the beginning of next year. The contest will be conducted through the company’s website, www.wrcase.com, and held in conjunction with Case Custom Chopper Tour stops in more than 65 U.S. cities. Tour stops will offer consumers an opportunity to view, take photographs and register for a chance to win the custom chopper. Limited edition merchandise will be available only at these events, including Case knives and a high-polish chrome lighter made by the Zippo Manufacturing Company. T-shirts, sport caps, and additional merchandise will also be offered.
