Red Hill Cutlery, located at 1628 North Logsdon Parkway in Radcliff, Kentucky, will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate the opening of its new Kentucky Museum of American Pocketknives. The ceremony will be part of a special “Celebrating American Made” event for its customers, which begins at 9:00 a.m and ends at 1:00 p.m. The events are part of Case Cutlery’s Making a Case for America initiative, which promotes the local sale of products still made in the U.S.A. Activities will include hourly drawings for prizes and a live auction for several one-of-a-kind and prototype knives hand-crafted by Case artisans. Limited edition event knives will be available for sale. Refreshments will be available. For more information, contact Lonnie Basham at 270-351-5493.

The store will be giving away door prizes and offering special discounts on selected pocket knives, fixed blades, and selected cutlery throughout the event. Several Case representatives will be on hand, including Ed Jessup, Case’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Shirley Boser, Case’s very first Historian. Mr. Jessup is a second generation Case executive. Ms. Boser worked at Case for more than 30 years, spending her last several years of employment documenting the history and compiling historical artifacts about the company for future generations.
