Case Cutlery Website Honored with ADDY Award

Bradford, PA (April 6, 2006) - The marketing agency, Ripple Effects Interactive, of Pittsburgh, PA, received an ADDY Award, in conjunction with W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co., for the Case website, www.wrcase.com.  The website earned a Gold Award in the Websites, Consumer HTML/Other category at the Pittsburgh ADDY Awards on March 3, 2006. The site will go on to compete in the district ADDY competition.

Case launched its redesigned website in 2005 with a focus on highlighting both the knives and the storied tradition of Case knifemaking. Since the redesign, site hits have increased by 124%.  Also, Case has added an online discussion forum for Case Collector Club members and regular updates on new products, collecting information, dealer locations and company news.

"We recognize that our site must be a tool to attract new consumers and to encourage the continued interest of Case knife users and collectors. We're pleased that both Ripple Effects and Case could be recognized for their effort,” says Tom Arrowsmith, Case President and CEO.

The Pittsburgh ADDY Awards Competition is the first of a three-tiered national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF). The ADDY Awards Competition is the industry's largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.
