Hi,
I'm Carla Hervatin and I've worked at Case for 12 years. Several people have enjoyed this unique story in the past, so I thought I'd add it to the Case Blog.
I've collected RussLocks for a long time. A few years ago, I noticed an ad in one of the Case Collector's Club magazines from a guy named Art Hrvatin who was looking for a knife. Now, there aren't a lot of people with a name like mine, so I decided to try to contact this man.
I phoned Art, and he told me that he seen my picture (and name) in an earlier edition and wanted to meet me also.
Art attended the next swap meet and searched for me through a few other Case Associates until he found me in the Zippo/Case visitor center where I was working. Come to find out both of us are collectors of the Russlocks. Art has almost every one we have ever made!
We have been close friends ever since. He even met the rest of my family while he was in Pennsylvania. To this day, I try to keep him informed on new Russlocks coming out. Down below is Art's picture with his collection.

Great story! I also collect Russlocks and when I saw the picture of Al's collection I was very impressed. Thanks for the story and keep up the great work.
