Happy New Year I’m here waiting for the cold weather to stay long enough to freeze the water on the dams so that I can do some ice fishing. It’s been about 10-15 degrees the last couple of days, so I might get my chance. Since there hasn’t been any ice, I went late squirrel hunting. I always have a great time hunting squirrel and usually do pretty good. Here is a picture of me and my youngest son, Zachary, and the squirrel:

I’m looking forward to the trips this year. We have our pattern of knife, the ’49 CopperLock, picked out for the Artisan tours. That pattern is going in the vault so it will not be made for another three years.

P.S. Since I started writing this, I was able to do some ice fishing. My oldest son, Hunter and I spent the day fishing together. We ended up getting one so I didn’t get totally skunked. God bless, and please don’t forget to be praying for our troops.
