Shirley Boser
Historian
Shirley Boser, our beloved Case Historian, has over 31 years of experience at Case Cutlery. Throughout her career, Shirley has had a hand in almost every aspect of knife making. She certainly knows more than a thing or two about Case history! Shirley has worked as an inspector, an etcher, an engraver, a knife honer, a set-up technician, a manufacturing supervisor, a special factory order (S.F.O.) coordinator, before taking her rightful place as the Case Historian.
With Shirley’s past experience and curious nature, she has gathered thousands of pages, pictures, and stories that detail a rich history. All of this could not be done without the support and help of many Case family ancestors, knife collectors, and friends. Shirley describes this as “the art of relationship building.”
Shirley is a great role model for those who have a passion for knife collecting. We thank Shirley for many years of dedicated service to Case Cutlery and for her drive, ambition, and enthusiasm for the Case brand that is simply contagious.
